18" Corner Stiffeners should be placed inside at 12" intervals(4 per cell) and crimped over the line and crosswires on the front and side faces. None are needed for interior cells. Lacing wire may be used as an alternate cell cross tie in lieu of Corner Stiffeners. Tying from front to back at 12" intervals.
Gabions may be filled with graded stone by hand or machine in 12" lifts, cross or corner tying each lift. It is imperative to maintain a constant inside dimension in order to have the lid fit correctly.
After filling, close the lid and secure with spiral binders at the diaphragms, ends, front and back.
